What is it?

What does it taste like?
This dark roast is bold, rich, robust, and full-bodied with notes of chocolate, coffee, mocha and earth. Ojoche also holds up exceptionally well to cream or dairy alternative and can be enhanced with maple syrup, honey, or other sweetener.
How to Prepare:
For a hot preparation, steep 1 tablespoon of ojoche in 8-10oz of boiling water for 5 minutes. You can do this in a french press, or directly in your cup. Enjoy straight, or with cream or your favorite dairy alternative, maple syrup, honey, or other sweetener.
Ojoche also makes a delicious cold brew. For cold preparation, mix 5 tablespoons of ojoche granules into 32oz of cold water. Mix, and let sit in the fridge for 24 hours to steep and enjoy over ice. Pair with full fat coconut milk or cream for a luscious elixir experience.
Ojoche is naturally very dense, so by nature it won't dissolve completely into your drink. You can drink it all by swirling the sediment into the liquid as you go, or if you prefer, you can pour off the liquid so you won't have any sediment. The sediment is great prebiotic fiber! If you prefer to strain out the solids you can save them and use them in cooking or bake with them. There is still lots of nutrition left in the grounds and you can add them to brownies, cookies, pancakes, smoothies, chili, marinades, mole - the list just keeps growing.
